flying by

When did I say that my baby boy could grow up???????
He is now 20.
I remember when he was being born.. wasn't that just yesterday...... no it was
it was learning to talk
it was learning to walk
it was becoming a big brother twice
it was learning to ride a bike
it was growing 5 inches in 2 month
it was you started so small 18' to 6"1
it was little league ... and pee wee ball
it was the principal called
it was NO you cant keep that frog.. ...ok where do we find crickets for the frog to eat.
it was JR HIGH football
it was what girl are you dating now
it was i am a freshman
it was endless wrestling practices and matches
it was mom teaching me how to drive
it was my first job at Ambercombi as a floor model
it was getting my driver license
it was i am a senior
it was hey mom ... make sure you don't set the alarm in the house i will be home late
it was WOW ... you are 20.
it was just yesterday that i was bring you home from the hospital...........
I love you my son!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder why life had so many ups and downs???

Is it like the tides of the ocean???

Does it keep life in balance???

If we didn't have the up and downs what would we be like.

Too much up.... hummmmmm

Too much down.... hummmmm

Does the ups give us a break from the downs

Does the downs make us appreciate the ups in our lives

I know that God never promised use that it would always be a bed of roses...

I know that God promised that he would never leave us.

So rejoice in both the ups and downs of life.

What I learned this weekend
1 . Mom's do alot
2. Puppies have way to much energy at 3 and 5 am.
3. Your kids may not always say it but they really do like it when you are apart of there life.
4. Getting up early and going to bed late is overrated.
5. I cant text more that one person at a time, with out wanting to throw my phone.
6. Dancers work really hard, are very loud, and sparkle all the time with red lips.
7. If you want to be young at heart, be around music and young people.
8. Holding you head up .... even if you finish last.
9. What a true friend is.
10. That I really can do more than I think.

It is almost 7 am. I have been up since 5:30am. It is my daughters last dance competition of the year. I am up to make sure that she has everything.
She will be dancing at UNT today. It should be fun to watch. It will be a long day.
I am so proud of her.

Hello World

Well this is going to be an adventure.
This is my world, and the way that I think about things, deal with things, and cry at things and laugh at thing.
I have wanted to start blogging for a while.
I think that people that are bloggers are cool. I know that is corny ... but I do.
